Bringing Art to Life
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee to Nigerian parents Precious has an extensive background related to writing, arts and education. Precious attended Nashville School for the Arts, where she studied Dance and Theater but followed her mother's footsteps and majored in Early Childhood education, attending and graduating from Tennessee State University.
One semester in a Children's Literature class, Precious did so well on a storytelling assignment. Her Professor (Dr. Matthews) asked Precious to stand up and tell her story in front of the classroom. That is when she found her niche and began intertwining early childhood education with art and storytelling.
Precious’s love for literature has led her to work on several projects, including; Nneka Says (children's book), Little Authors (summer enrichment program), and various storytelling segments that can be found on the web. Precious is also a member of (SCBWI) Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and she won the 2021 gold award for her 2nd book (3 Kola Nuts) given by The Human Relations Indie Book Awards, Cultural Children's division.
